WELCOME and INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my website! My name is Jacqueline Fletcher and I am proud to be a Civil Celebrant. This particular service I provide is very important.
Approximately 192 babies are lost everyday in Australia due to either miscarriage or stillbirth, and 1 in 10 babies born are premature. It is an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time for thousands of parents when this happens with often so many questions unanswered. These cherubs deserve to be acknowledged and the parents deserve a time to be able to do this.
I offer a service where those parents can honour and pay respects to their "cherished cherub" in a ceremony that I will conduct for you. It is, in many cases, the only time there has been the opportunity for a formal goodbye. This can bring some finality to the process, particularly for other children in the family who have heard about or witnessed the tragedy, and it will help in the grieving process for all.
